The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps low-income families pay their home heating and cooling bills.
Employment Training
These program provides classroom instruction and clinical/hands-on activities which prepare an individual to become a CNA (Certified Nurse Aide), obtain their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), or receive certification in Facilities Maintenance in a short period of time. Case Management focused on Family Self-Sufficiency
Case management focused on family self-sufficiency is funded by the Community Service Block Grant (CSBG). CSBG is an antipoverty reduction program that was created to promote and provide an array of services and activities to encourage self-sufficiency and to make permanent improvements in the lives of low-income families and individuals.
Commodities
Enrichment Services Program, Inc. partners with Feeding the Valley to implement a food distribution program that provides a food package to participants once a month. The food package is designed to improve the health of recipients by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods that are designed to provide protein, calcium, iron, vitamins A and C.
