High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Serve Safe Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of the care and use of kitchen utensils and equipment, record keeping and report preparation.
- Ability to implement established work methods, coordinate all facets of food preparation and service, establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others, estimate quantities and follow large-scale recipes and follow written and oral instructions.
Incumbent assists in planning, preparing and serving appetizing, wholesome, and nutritious meals to children.
