High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
- Minimum one year experience in food preparation or related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, parents and children.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions.
Incumbent provides leadership for the food service operation of the assigned Early Head Start or Head Start Center, including: planning, coordinating, directing and evaluating.
