Who We Are

We care about the entire community and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

Established in 1964, Enrichment Services Program (ESP) is a nonprofit Community Action Agency that each year provides more than 10,000 families and children with low income in the Chattahoochee Valley with the tools and resources to become self-sufficient.

Our Mission

Enrichment Services Program empowers families to thrive through quality education, services, and partnerships.

Our Vision

Every family is thriving and engaged in the community.

Our Purpose

ESP is committed to increasing the awareness of the impact of poverty and implementing strategies for reducing it. We identify and remove barriers to achieve family stability and promote interdependency. Turning hope into reality, ESP motivates residents toward a desirable future and encourages them to become a healthy contributor to the life of our community.

Our Story

Like many other Community Action Agencies across the nation, Enrichment Services Program was formed from President Lyndon B. Johnson’s War on Poverty and the advocacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  Established in 1964, ESP operated as the Community Action Development Committee and later Lower Chattahoochee Community Action Agency when incorporated in 1965. For more than 50 years, we are continuing to help people, change lives, and build families in eleven counties and two states.
